EARLY ARRIVAL
Plan to arrive early so you don’t miss any of the action. Parking and street access by car may be limited as there are several events happening in the stadium district.
NEW SECURITY & TURNSTILE ENTRY PROCESS
BC Place features new security screening and electronic turnstiles at entry points as part of recent venue upgrades. Ensure that electronic tickets have been downloaded to your mobile device before approaching the gates.
At security screening:
At the gates, guests are asked to keep their personal items, including their stadium-permitted bags, on their person as they walk through the security detection system, and on to the electronic turnstiles. See below for more on the stadium clear bag policy.
At the turnstiles:
If the electronic tickets are in your Mobile Wallet, tap your phone near the contactless reader at the top of the turnstile screen.
If the electronic tickets are on the Ticketmaster app or if using physical tickets, scan using the barcode reader at the bottom of the turnstile screen.
If tapping or scanning multiple tickets on one phone, please wait for the green light and allow one guest in your group through the turnstile, before moving to the next ticket. There are no in-and-out privileges once a ticket has been scanned in.
CLEAR BAG POLICY & PROHIBITED ITEMS
To ensure a safe environment for the public and align with industry standards, BC Place has implemented a restricted bag policy as part of our integrated security plan.
Guests are encouraged not to bring bags of any type, however the following bags are permitted into the facility:
- Bags no larger than 6.5” x 8.5”
- Clear plastic bag (including clear plastic freezer bags) no larger than 12” x 12” x 6”
Exceptions may be provided for diaper bags and medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag.
Prohibited items storage and bag check are available on a first-come-first-served basis at $10 per piece.
Visit bcplace.com/clear-bag-policy to learn more.
For the full list of prohibited items, as well as other guest policies, visit.
DRESS ACCORDINGLY
Be reminded that BC Place is an open-air stadium regardless if the roof is open or closed. Dress accordingly based on temperature outdoors.
CASHLESS VENUE
BC Place is a cashless venue. A cash-to-card station is available at the Guest Services desk at Sections 234 and 446.
REUSABLE CUP PROGRAM
All draft beer, cocktails, and wine are served in reusable cups. After enjoying their beverage, guests are asked to drop their cup in the designated reusable cups bins around the stadium. The reusable cup program eliminates the need for new materials and manufacturing for each serving, helping conserve valuable environmental resources, while also keeping beverages colder for longer.
HIDDEN DISABILITIES SUNFLOWER
The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower (HDS) is a global initiative that uses a sunflower symbol to discreetly indicate that someone has a non-visible disability and may need additional support, understanding and/or time. Guests will be able to access a Sunflower lanyard from Guest Services desk at Sections 234 and 446, which they can either keep or loan.
HEARING LOOP
Assistive listening technology is available for guests with hearing aids visiting Guest Services at Sections 234 and 446.
SENSORY AWARENESS
Sensory kits available until supplies last at Guest Services at Sections 234 and 446. Guests may also request access to the BC Place Sensory Room near the Section 250 ramp.
INADMISSIBLE PATRON PROGRAM
BC Place is a member of the Inadmissible Patron Program. An Inadmissible Patron is defined as a person whose lifestyle, associations and/or activities pose a risk to public safety, either directly or from third parties. This includes people who are involved with or associated to organized crime, gangs, and the drug trade. Vancouver Police will be on site and assisting in the enforcement of this program. Anyone identified as an Inadmissible Patron by police will be denied entry/evicted from the venue and will not receive any refund or compensation.
