Northern Lights Display - April 2020

The stadium's Northern Lights Display is recognized around the world as a landmark of Vancouver’s skyline. BC Place is honoured to be able to help bring awareness to events, charities and non-profit causes that are important to communities in British Columbia.
Here are some of our lighting initiatives for April:
April 1st - Yellow for Daffodil Month
April 2nd - Blue for World Autism Awareness Day
April 3rd - Blue Show for Health Care Workers and Essential Services Employees
April 4th - Purple for National Dental Hygienists Week and Oral Health Month
April 5th - Blue Show for Health Care Workers and Essential Services Employees
April 6th - Red & White in advance of Oncology Nursing Day on April 7th
April 7th - Green for Green Shirt Day
April 8th - Pink for International Day of Pink
April 9th - Blue Show for Health Care Workers and Essential Services Employees
April 10th - Blue Show for Health Care Workers and Essential Services Employees
April 11th - Teal & Magenta for World Parkinson's Day
April 12th - Blue Show for Health Care Workers and Essential Services Employees
April 13th - Orange & Blue for FND Awareness Day
April 14th - Blue Show for Health Care Workers and Essential Services Employees
April 15th - Periwinkle for IBS Awareness Month
April 16th - Blue Show for Health Care Workers and Essential Services Employees
April 17th - Red for World Hemophilia Day

April 19th - Blue, Pink & Yellow for Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) Awareness
April 20th - Lights will be off in memory of those who lost their lives in the Nova Scotia shooting.
April 21st - Green for National Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Week
April 22nd - Lights will be off for Earth Day 2020
April 23rd - Blue Show for Health Care Workers and Essential Services Employees
April 24th - Red for National Volunteers Week
April 25th - Blue Show for Health Care Workers and Essential Services Employees
April 26th - Blue & Gold to promote the eradication of Polio
April 27th - Teal for PMDD Awareness Month
April 28th - Orange for National Day of Mourning
April 29th - Blue for World Wish Day
April 30th - Blue Show for Health Care Workers and Essential Services Employees
The stadium will continue to light up with a special heart animation at 7pm each night to join the round of applause for health care professionals across our province who are working tirelessly to support our communities through the COVID-19 pandemic.
