BC Place glows in support of the Cypress Challenge

BC Place will glow yellow, teal and purple tonight in advance of the 12th annual Cypress Challenge, benefiting the BC Cancer Foundation.
Cypress Challenge is a commitment to cycle 12km up Cypress Mountain on Sunday, August 11th, to raise awareness and funds that will enhance pancreatic cancer research in BC. Since 2008, the challenge has raised over $2.9 million towards finding solutions for the 800 British Columbians who are estimated to be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this year. Seventy-five per cent of these patients won’t survive the first year, and less than 10 per cent will survive five years.
