BC Place lights up for CDH Awareness Day

BC Place will light up blue, pink and yellow to recognize Global Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) Awareness Day on Monday, April 19th.
Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) is a birth defect that occurs when a baby's diaphragm fails to fully form, allowing abdominal organs to enter the chest cavity and preventing lung growth. CDH occurs in 1 in approximately every 2500 babies. The overall survival rate is 50%, while the cause is unknown.
