BC Place glows green for World Glaucoma Week

BC Place will glow green to mark the start of World Glaucoma Week on Sunday, March 7th.
Glaucoma is a chronic, progressive, degenerative disorder of the optic nerve that produces characteristic visual field damage. It is the second leading cause of blindness globally, and importantly: it is irreversible.
World Glaucoma Week (March 7th to 13th) is a global initiative to raise awareness about the disorder. It is estimated that approximately 80 million people worldwide are affected by glaucoma.
