BC Place lights up purple for Overdose Awareness Day

BC Place will light up purple tonight to recognize International Overdose Awareness Day on Monday, August 31st.
Marked annually on August 31st, International Overdose Awareness Day is an initiative to recognize the impact of overdose in our communities and to remember those who have been lost.
It is also an opportunity to stimulate discussion about evidence-based overdose prevention and drug policy, as well as reduce the stigma of drug-related deaths.
