BC Sports Hall of Fame closing to public temporarily

March 17th, 2020

The BC Sports Hall of Fame, located at Gate A of BC Place Stadium, will be temporarily closed to the public starting today, March 17th.

In a statement posted to Facebook, the Hall announced the closure on Tuesday morning:

Over the last several days, we have all seen concern growing about the spread of COVID-19. Health experts suggest that a key part of slowing down the spread of this virus is restricting public gatherings and opportunities where people may congregate.

The health and safety of BC Sports Hall of Fame guests and teammates are paramount. As a result, we have made the decision to temporarily close to the public effective March 17th, 2020. We know people will understand and support this precautionary step because it is the right one.

For now, we hope all of our valued patrons stay safe, and we look forward to welcoming you back when the museum is operational again. We will be in touch when we are back up and running.
