BC Place glows red for Women's Heart Disease Awareness

BC Place will light up red in support of Wear Red Canada 2020, a campaign to raise awareness about women's heart disease, on Thursday, February 13th.
Did you know heart disease is the number one killer of women in Canada? Most information doctors have about heart health comes from studies performed on men. As such, women are often under-diagnosed, under-treated and under-researched with regard to heart disease. Wear Red Canada is a national campaign held annually on February 13th to raise awareness about women’s heart health.
