BC Place lights up green for Celiac Disease Awareness

BC Place will light up green today for Celiac Awareness Month.
May is Celiac Awareness Month. Celiac Disease (CD) is a genetic, multi-system, autoimmune disorder where the body reacts to gluten and other prolamines in wheat, rye and barley. It is estimated that it affects as many as 1 in every 100 - 200 people in North America.
