BC Place lights up purple in advance of World Lupus Day

BC Place will light up purple today in advance of World Lupus Day on Friday, May 10th.
Every day, more than 5 million people worldwide struggle with the often debilitating health consequences of lupus, a potentially fatal autoimmune disease capable of damaging virtually any part of the body, including the skin, heart, lungs, kidneys, and brain. World Lupus Day serves to call attention to the impact that lupus has on people around the world.
