Northern Lights Display - October 2021

The stadium's Northern Lights Display is recognized around the world as a landmark of Vancouver’s skyline. BC Place is honoured to be able to help bring awareness to events, charities, and non-profit causes that are important to communities in British Columbia.
Here are the stadium's lighting initiatives for October:
October 2 – orange for Whitecaps FC's Indigenous Night
October 3 – blue for International Day for Older Persons on Oct 1
October 4 – yellow & white for Wrongful Conviction Day on Oct 2
October 6 – green for World Cerebral Palsy Day
October 7 – teal for Trigeminal Neuralgia Awareness Day
October 8-9 – Fall show (Thanksgiving weekend)
October 10 – purple for Mental Health Day
October 11 – pink for International Day of the Girl
October 13 – green, pink & teal for Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day
October 15 – pink, blue, & purple for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day
October 17 - rainbow colours for Whitecaps FC's Pride Night
October 18 – teal for Food Allergy Awareness
October 19 – purple for National Psoriatic Arthritis Awareness Day
October 20 – green for Waste Reduction Week
October 21 – blue & purple for Disability Employment Month
October 22 – green for VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation's Night of a Thousand Stars / seafoam green for International Stuttering Awareness Day
October 24 – red for Dyslexia Awareness Month
October 25 – green for Islamic Heritage Month
October 28 – Remembrance Poppy on the eve of the start of the annual Poppy Campaign
October 29-31 – Jack-O-Lantern (Halloween weekend)
