Centerplate team at BC Place kicks off 2021 with a generous donation

January 13th, 2021

To kick off the new year, the Centerplate team at BC Place organized a donation of nearly 2,500 pounds of food for The Salvation Army Vancouver Harbour Light. This generous contribution will go towards feeding our vulnerable neighbours in the Downtown Eastside community.

Since the postponement of major events at the stadium in March 2020, BC Place and Centerplate have amplified efforts to support the community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. To date, over 10,000 pounds of food has been donated to benefit our local communities. Thank you to our valued team members for their continued commitment to serving others during this challenging time!
