Northern Lights Display - November 2019

The stadium's Northern Lights Display is recognized around the world as a landmark of Vancouver’s skyline. BC Place is honoured to be able to help bring awareness to events, charities and non-profit causes that are important to communities in British Columbia.

Here are some of our lighting initiatives for November:

November 3rd – White for Lung Cancer Awareness

November 4th – Orange for "Color the World Orange" Initiative for CRPS/RSD Awareness

November 5th – Purple for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness

November 6th – Green for Show Your 4-H Colours Day

November 7th – Teal for "Light the World in Teal" Initiative for Alzheimer's Awareness

November 8th – Red for Crohn’s and Colitis Awareness

November 9th – Lime Green for Adoption Awareness

November 11th – Poppy Design for Remembrance Day

November 12th – Moustache Design for Movember Campaign

November 13th – Blue in advance of World Diabetes Day (on November 14th)

November 14th – Special Animation for the start of St. Paul’s Foundation’s Light of Hope

November 15th – Purple in advance of World Prematurity Day (on November 17th)

November 17th – Rainbow for the start of Multiculturalism Week in BC

November 18th – Purple for Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness

November 19th – Light Blue in advance of National Child Day (on November 20th)

November 20th – Light Blue, Pink and White for Transgender Day of Remembrance

November 21st – Blue for Children’s Grief Awareness Day

November 22nd – Purple for Osteoporosis Awareness

November 25th – Blue for National Addictions Awareness Week

November 26th – Orange for "Orange The World" Initiative to End Gender-Based Violence

November 28th – Red for Salvation Army’s Kettle Campaign

November 29th – Periwinkle in advance of Stomach Cancer Day (on November 30th)
