Northern Lights Display - August 2019

The stadium's Northern Lights Display is recognized around the world as a landmark of Vancouver’s skyline. BC Place is honoured to be able to help bring awareness to events, charities and non-profit causes that are important to communities in British Columbia.
Here are some of our lighting initiatives for August:
August 1st – Red and White in advance of Food Day Canada on August 3rd
August 2nd to 4th – Rainbow for Pride
August 5th – Pink and Yellow in advance of PVNH Awareness Day on August 7th
August 8th – Lime Green for Muscular Dystrophy Awareness
August 9th – Orange for World Day of Indigenous Peoples
August 10th – Yellow, Teal and Purple for the Cypress Challenge benefiting the BC Cancer Agency
August 11th – Green for Gastroparesis Awareness
August 12th – Blue, Red and Yellow for Youth Day
August 19th – Light Blue for World Humanitarian Day
August 21st – Blue and Green for Power To Be
August 22nd – Green for Light the Sky Green Campaign benefiting March of Dimes Canada
August 25th – Blue and Yellow for The Ride to Conquer Cancer
August 28th – Teal in advance of PKD Awareness Day on September 4th
August 30th – Purple in advance of Overdose Awareness Day on August 31st
