The stadium's Northern Lights Display is recognized around the world as a landmark of Vancouver’s skyline. BC Place is honoured to be able to help bring awareness to events, charities and non-profit causes that are important to communities in British Columbia.
Here are some of our lighting initiatives for May:
May 1st - Blue and Green for Cystic Fibrosis Awareness
May 2nd - Grey for Brain Tumour Awareness
May 3rd - Lime Green for Lyme Disease Awareness
May 4th - Blue in advance of the Battle of the Atlantic Ceremony on May 5th
May 5th - Purple for World Pulmonary Hypertension Day
May 6th - Yellow for Darkness Into Light Walk for Mental Health
May 7th - Red in advance of Dress for Success Event on May 8th
May 8th - Purple in advance of World Lupus Day on May 10th
May 12th - Blue, Purple and Green for CIND Awareness
May 13th - Blue and yellow in advance of MPS Awareness Day on May 15th
May 16th - Blue and Green in advance of NF Awareness Day on May 17th
May 17th - Red for World Hypertension Day
May 18th - Teal for Food Allergy Awareness Week
May 19th - Purple for World IBD Day
May 20th - Green for Celiac Disease Awareness
May 21st - Rainbow for World Day of Cultural Diversity
May 22nd - Purple in advance of Schizophrenia and Psychosis Day on May 24th
May 23rd - Blue for BC Sports Hall of Fame Gala
May 26th - Blue and Purple for Huntington's Disease Awareness
