FIlM Shoots

As British Columbia’s largest sports and event facility, BC Place is full of potential for your next film shoot. From a winding concrete interior, a sprawling sports field, and a multitude of possible exterior shots, we can meet the needs of almost any project.

We have over 242,000 sq. ft. of shooting space, filled with concrete corridors as well as electrical and mechanical rooms. There’s a sprawling concourse, winding hallways, numerous restaurants, executive suites and a massive exterior that provide a diverse range of settings and themes.

Easy on-floor truck and transport ability makes moving your film equipment in, out and throughout the Stadium a smooth and
efficient process.

Sporting Events

Our versatility truly shines during sporting events, with the ability for our turf to transform into a rigid surface for courts or dirt. We can accommodate a full house at our 54,500 seat capacity, or we can create a more intimate and thrilling atmosphere by deploying our revolutionary secondary ceiling.

Concerts

From full-stadium productions to outdoor weekend country festivals or a more intimate arena-style arrangement, BC Place is the home to Vancouver’s only indoor/outdoor concert venue. We set the stage with outstanding accommodations and ensure an amazing experience for both hosts and their guests.

Community

BC Place supports local organizations and not-for-profit societies to help make a meaningful difference, by providing a spectacular venue for a wide range of amateur and youth sporting events.
