CONTACT 2015 Lineup Announced

CONTACT Winter Music Festival, Western Canada’s largest indoor EDM (Electronic Dance Music) festival, will return to BC Place for the fourth consecutive year on December 26th and 27th, 2015! Since its inaugural year in 2012, CONTACT Winter Music Festival has evolved into one of the most anticipated festivals of its kind, attracting fans to Vancouver from across the Pacific Northwest to this marquis event.

Presented by Blueprint Events and Live Nation, CONTACT 2015 will feature headlining performances by Above & Beyond on Saturday, December 26th and Hardwell on Sunday, December 27th. In response to the event’s sold-out track record, the two-day festival will be increasing its capacity for 2015 and is expecting over 28,000+ attendees between the festival days.

The December 26th and 27th event will be open to all ages, and will feature VIP areas for attendees who are 19 and older carrying ID.

BC Place to host Canadian Men’s team in 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Qualifier!

Fresh off successfully hosting the FIFA Women’s World Cup, BC Place is excited to announce Canadian Men’s National Soccer Team will take on Honduras on November 13, 2015 as part of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Qualifiers! This will be Canada's first men’s international match at BC Place since the stadium was refurbished in 2011.

Canada are among the 12 CONCACAF nations in the hunt for a spot at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. The remaining nations have been split into three groups for the continent's 2015-2016 semi-final stage. The top-two nations in each group will advance to the final round in 2017, from which three nations qualify for Russia 2018 and the fourth team advances to an intercontinental playoff.

Tickets to this 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Qualifiers match will go on sale this Friday, September 18th at 10:00 a.m. PT via www.ticketmaster.ca.
