Northern Lights Display - June 2019

The stadium's Northern Lights Display is recognized around the world as a landmark of Vancouver’s skyline. BC Place is honoured to be able to help bring awareness to events, charities and non-profit causes that are important to communities in British Columbia.

Here are some of our lighting initiatives for June:

June 1st - Purple for ALS Awareness

June 2nd - Blue for Deafblind Awareness

June 3rd - Green for Women Deliver

June 4th - Red and white for Jumpstart Month

June 5th - Blue and green for World Environment Day

June 8th - Red for Stroke Awareness

June 9th - Blue and orange for Men's Health Week starting on June 10th

June 10th - Red for National Blood Donor Week

June 11th - Green for Brain Injury Awareness

June 12th - Teal for Tourette Awareness

June 13th - Purple in advance of Elder Abuse Awareness Day on June 15th

June 16th - Blue for Prostate Cancer Awareness

June 17th - Green for Thyroid Awareness

June 19th - Light Blue in advance of World Refugee Day on June 20th

June 20th - Multi-Colour animation in advance of National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21st

June 23rd - Green for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Awareness

June 27th - Rainbow animation for Canadian Multiculturalism Day
