BC PLACE TO GLOW PINK AND BLUE FOR PREGNANCY AND INFANT LOSS AWARENESS DAY

BC Place will glow pink and blue this Saturday, October 15 to raise awareness for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day.
The October 15th campaign raises awareness for a variety of issues that are the direct result of the death of a child, either before birth (during pregnancy) or after birth. It is recognized in parts of Canada and many other countries around the world.
Many families have suffered a miscarriage, stillbirth or the death of an infant during delivery or shortly after birth. This day of remembrance honours the lives of the children and supports their grieving grandparents, siblings and parents whose lives are changed by the heartbreak of losing a child.
